Some faulties, it is true.

I notice the catalog mentions possible side-ways watermarks for the KGV stamps.

And here are the close-ups.

I like them. I especially like the Sandown, Isle of Wight cancel on the KGV, top right.

And the hexagons-on-stamps on the KGVI's. Must get them for my hexagon collection.

Fairly run of the mill material,
I like the top row,
the green perfin (that's a newie)
and the fourpenny KG6, that looks suspiciously
like a London Manuscript cancel (with the bars)

A 2d fiscal I spot,

and being a west country man, do I spot the crazy cancel of
UGHBOROUGH ! :)

Smauggie - I've been sorting through some kiloware which has turned up a fair amount of KGVI if you want to fill in any gaps maybe a few KGV too.
I can also send you some of the HVs with Hexagons Puzzler.

Drop me a mail if interested.

And sorry to be a pesky pedant, but the nice Isle of Wight cancel is on a KEVII, not a KGV

Watch out, smaugie, GB will hook you. The Victorian issues alone will grab you and shake you like a puppy shaking a chew toy.

I thought you guys might like some of those cancels. This is the kernel of my future GB collection, focusing on the classics.

Rohumpy: Oh, I have been admiring stamps of Great Britain and Colonies for a long time now. Just haven't taken the plunge. I don't think I will be able to hold off for much longer.

Oh, the cancel over his head make him look like he had more hair. Feeble excuse. Off to the tower with me, no, no, I insist.

AnthonyUK, Thanks, email sent.
