These pics were taken a couple of weeks ago. Our living room is upstairs. This is part of the view from the window. |

How lovely Stampgal, do I note a trend here? A lot of stampers are "away from it all" country folk? |

Maybe, Rod - or maybe the country folk just have more pics ready to hand. My grandparents had a sea view, and when I was sorting out their house after they had died, I found literally hundreds of pictures taken of exactly the same view - stormy view, sunny view, misty view, sunrise, sunset, boats, seagulls, summer, winter, etc etc etc... I'm a bit the same... |

I agree. We moved in, took pics, and emailed all of our family and friends with "Look at the view!" |

Nice views everyone! Stampgal, your view of Scotland looks a lot like B.C. I would have the same view as you if I could blow up the house beside me! ...and no sooner I post a rare snow view, and we get 2" (50mm) over night... ---- |

Another country person here..... Our village taken from the air 10 years ago. Now a bit more 'built-up' I don't have a stamp Room unfortunately. We live in a tiny former Kibbutz bungalow. The window to my right The view will be different in about 18 months when I have erceted my fencing and made my extrovert garden ! But there is still digging to be done by the contractors so it's not worth the effort just yet. The Door to my left... Londonbus1 |

Quote: where in the UK are there mountains?
Scotland has most of the UK's mountains. SV, the mountain in my pic is a couple of summits away from the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, around 4,400 feet high. A minnow compared with peaks in North America and elsewhere, but still imposing and beautiful. |

Great pictures everyone. It's lovely to see where others live and what they see.
Thanks Jubilee for a great thread [I saw the 'other' one by the way !]
