In many of the various web listings for Lighthouse's Optima pages (similar to Vario), the language "for British Commonwealth stamps" has been copied over and over. It appears that Optima pages are slightly smaller than Vario pages.

Anyone have any idea what this "for British Commonwealth stamps" language means? I first suspected someone was doing a little search engine optimization, but it appears in enough different places that I wonder about that...

For what its worth, I didn't notice it on the Lighthouse USA website.

Thanks.

CJD,

My own understanding of this is that the clear pocket size (42 millimeters) allows classic vertical British Commonwealth stamps to be put on the pages with no overlapping of the pocket above.

Hope this helps,

Avi

Thanks for that, Avi. It is true that the 6-pocket Vario is just a bit too short very often. By the time I get down to five pockets, I've lost a lot of capacity, and definitives are practically swimming in the deep pockets.

Now that's really interesting - never knew about Optima and I've been using Vario for years . . .

Many thanks, folks!

Ah - so I am still better off sticking to my Vario, I think.
