"Blaues Wunder"

name: Blue Miracle location: over the Elbe river, Dresden, Germany built: 1891-1893 material: wrought iron type: cantilever truss bridge total lenght: 280 m longest span: 146 m
The blue in the name comes from the colour of the bridge. An urban legend claims that the bridge was originally painted green, but that the weather or the sun turned the bridge blue. |
