The Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge, or Second Penang Bridge, is a dual carriageway toll bridge in Penang, Malaysia. It connects Bandar Cassia (Batu Kawan) in Seberang Perai on mainland Peninsular Malaysia with Batu Maung on Penang Island. The total length of the bridge is 24 km with length over water at 16.9 km, making it the longest bridge in Malaysia and the longest in Southeast Asia.

The Southern Bridge (Latvian: Dienvidu tilts) crosses the Daugava river in the city of Riga. It was opened on November 17, 2008. It has a total length of 803 meters in 7 spans.

Birchenough Bridge is located 62 km from Chipinge in the Manicaland province of Zimbabwe. The bridge links Chipinge with Buhera. The single-arch suspension bridge, 378 m in length and 10 m in width, was opened in December 1935.

The Angus L. Macdonald Bridge is a suspension bridge crossing Halifax Harbor in Nova Scotia. It opened on April 2, 1955. It has a total length of 1300 meters and a width of 11.5 meters. The bridge was upgraded in 1999 and 2015.

The Ponte Sant'Angelo, originally known as the Pons Aelius, is a Roman bridge in Rome, Italy, completed in 134 AD by Roman Emperor Hadrian, to span the Tiber from the city center to his newly constructed mausoleum, now known as the Castel Sant'Angelo. Here is an image of a stamp depicting the ancient bridge, printed by photogravure, and issued by Italy on March 25, 1975 as one of set of five stamps commemorating Holy Tear 1975, Scott No. 1177, plus a photograph of the Ponte Sant'Angelo illuminated at night.

The Oléron Bridge is a reinforced concrete bridge which connects the Island of Oléron in the Bay of Biscay to the mainland of France. With a length of 2,862 meters, it was the longest bridge in France at the time of construction.

One of the 5 stamps features the Giurgio-Ruse Friendship Bridge.
The Danube Bridge (formerly known as the Friendship Bridge) is a steel truss bridge over the Danube River connecting the Bulgarian bank to the south with the Romanian bank to the north and the cities of Ruse and Giurgiu, respectively. The bridge has two decks for a two lane motorway and a railway, as well as sidewalks for pedestrians. The bridge was opened on June 20, 1954.

UK A-Z - Forth Bridge

The Forth Bridge is a cantilever railway bridge over the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland, 14 kilometers west of Edinburgh City Center. It is considered an iconic structure and a symbol of Scotland, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Construction of the bridge began in 1882 and it was opened on 4 March 1890.
