Here is Finland's September 30, 1986 mourning issue for President Kekkonen (1900-86). He served as Finland's President from 1956 to 1981.

Here are two Irish "black and whites" from 1966; The 5d. Roger Casement stamp (August 3), and the 1s. Ballintubber Abbey stamp (November 8).

On October 18, 1971 Ireland issued a set of two stamps to publicize the UN's "Year to Combat Racism and Racial Discrimination." The high value 10p stamp was printed in black. Hibernian Handbook: "Lithographed by Harrison & Sons Ltd., London."

This New Zealand official stamp from 1915 is the KGV 1 1/2d value printed on local plate (S.G. #O89).

So, it is a black cancel on a black and white stamp with a black overprint.

The black-and-white stamp depicts Muiredach's High Cross located at the ruined monastic site of Monasterboice in County Louth. The 5.8 meter-high cross is the most impressive surviving example of early medieval Irish stonework.
