These three stamps do not appear to be listed in my Gibbons China catalogue. A Chinese friend says the overprints suggest that they are national savings stamps. Is anyone able to identify them specifically?

They are regular postage stamps that were overprinted as postal savings stamps. They will not be listed in Scott.

Yes: the overprints are for postal savings. They aren't listed in Gibbons. They seem to be fairly common.

Thanks for the help.

If you have any information about year or catalogue numbers I'd appreciate it.

I try to keep my Chinese stamps in chronological order.

I don't collect revenues and I don't have a catalog for these. However, the overprints are regional based on what type of overprint was used and on which stamps.

You can read through this older thread https://goscf.com/t/9954, and ID the region. I'm a little tied down right now and my memory is off because I'm a bit tired, otherwise I would help you ID them. Maybe someone else can chime in and help.

khj, don't worry, it's not important. I just wanted to establish whether they were common stamps or not, which is hard to do when they're not listed in Gibbons. It seems that they are common enough. Thanks for your help!
