Hello, I'm fairly inexperienced with stamps, anyway, I have this stamp which appears to be either a Scott's #169 or #202 in the German Democratic Republic section. The only thing is my stamp says 50 instead of 60... If for some reason the picture isnt up, I will do my best to post it. My camera is a 12 megapixel and it makes it tough to post pictures here, last I checked anyway. The color seems to be the same as is the design and the stamp is MNH with smooth glossy gum. Thank you in advance.

The dark blue(cobalt) 50pf from the Five Year Plan definitives was issued in 1955, reissued in 1957 and again in 1959.
They difference is in the watermarks and perforations.

Issuarian,

The Five Year Plan series is a bear to catalog.

Without the imprint "E. Gruner K. Wolf" on the bottom of the stamp, it is a redrawn 1953 issue. Scott 481. Scott doesn't make a distinction but a perf 13 X 12 ½ is the 1957 issue and a perf 14 ia a 1959 reissue.. (Michel numbers 584A and 584B)

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example.
I collect for enjoyment, not investment.

LOL Sorry, it's late here and I had a brain cramp.

Scott does make the distinction. A Michel 584A would have the imprint. It is Scott 337.

Your stamp is a 481, 1959 reissue.
