Hope it's okay to post a cut square and not an entire cover, but here's one representing December 6th ... along with a rather interesting story behind it:

An odd looking postmark from a long lost town ... it actually took me sometime to realize that what looks to be "O"'s in the town name are actually "C"'s, so the town is LACKAWACK, NY. Interestingly, it is now a discontinued post office having been in operation from 1838-1958 and the town was subsequently leveled to make way for the Rondout Reservoir which services the water supply needs of New York City:

Since it is already December 7th for some of our members, let me add these two submissions: a 1936 from Zvikovec, Czechoslovakia and a 1943 from Washington, DC.

I've shown this cheque before, made out for POW labour on a farm in Blenheim Ontario, but it was made out Dec 12, 1946, so...I'll show it again.

Red Cross stamps show in Barcelona. December 9 to 13 1956. Around the red cross you can reda the motto "In hoc signo salus" (With this flag/symbol, You'll get health), a mimic of "In hoc signo vinces" (with this symbol you'll win), said to be presented by an angel to Roman Emperor Constantin I (British born, by the way) before the Milvius Bridge battle, A.D. 312, together with the Christian Symbols

Interesting Boston Circuit RPO cancel from 1912 at 2:00 AM! Public Transportation doesn't even run in Boston today at that time of the morning. It all closes up at midnight today (although bar owners have recently asked that they extend it to 2:30 AM ... but it hasn't happened yet)!

And here is another very pretty cover from the 14th. I am guessing that it even may have been sent from collector to collector or, at the very least, by a collector. More Christmas cards maybe?

Tomiseksj: As to the registered cover you posted from Centre Moreland, Pennsylvania, I believe the date is 1893. According to Jim Forte's Postal History web site, Centre Moreland was a discontinued post office after 1893. Assuming that information is accurate, you may actually have a cover bearing one of the last postmarks from that location!
