Turtles On Meter Stamps (Last Update July 2013)

It was "Hero's in the half-shell - TURTLE POWER!". COWABUNGA!

Koondrook is an way inland town on the river Murray
How would they get turtle there .
You can stand on a bridge on the river,
and be half way in Victoria and half in NSW

For dyed in the wool Aussies, Mr. Roy Higgins
was born in Koondrook (Famous Jockey , on a stamp )


I have never come across a stamp, let alone a meter
with a Koondrook strike.

What a facinating collection Miriam. Who would of thought there were that many meter stamps with turtles on them. I'll keep my eyes open for you for sure as I come accross lots of meter postage in my search.
