Hello, I ended up with a few hundred of what I believe are stamps called russian locals from early 1990's. I could use some help with what they are called and whether or not there is a resource to properly identify them. Thanks for any help you can provide. I have included two samples.

Hi, there are lots of Russian and Ukrainian "locals" like these but I believe they are almost all bogus and made just for collectors.

I like the penguins in your Dikson stamps! You don't see many penguins in the Arctic...

I have some similar Dikson stamps with polar bears instead of penguins.

I don't know if there's a catalogue for these.

Oh thanks nigelc. I appreciate the info. So if I decided to sell them, could you tell me the correct way to describe them so that I was not deceiving anyone? or are some of them actually legitimate postage? Thanks again for your help. Jon
