Anyone interested in viewing a collection of Hungarian stamps? There is a collection for sale that I stumbled across today. There are 160 album pages so it takes a while to load. Beware if you have a slow connection.

Pretty extensive early collection, it appears, Peterethio. Although I don't collect Hungary, my brother does. I just sent the link to him ... thanks!

That's a pretty complete collection, I like the Souvenir sheets especially the Liszt and the Eucharistic Congress.
Too bad they're not imperforate.

I couldn't see a price nor could I get back to the homepage.

It appears that many are CTO/FDC stamps.

Did I miss something?

Me too!
all that and no price?
I made a guess at the value, and would like

I forget the price. Judging by the box fight at the end (and yes, there is an end, somewhere ) it seems to be an auction. I think the price (probably a reserve) was between US$2000 and US$3000. The whole site is quite amazing. I've seen lots priced as low as 500 and up to 15000 (that's US$, not Lira )

The index of the site is

https://www.filatelie.net/index.asp?l=1

but again, a warning about the time taken to load these massive files. I've crashed the computer a couple of times (Firefox's memory leak I think).

The categories listed on the site are:

Netherlands
Dutch colonies
Western Europe
Germany and territories
Great Britain and Commonwealth
France and Colonies
Italy and territories
Scandinavia
Switzerland
Eastern Europe

Asia
Middle East
North and South America
Rest of the World
Thematics
Sorting boxes all world
Coins/banknotes
Netherlands and Colonies better single stamps/sets
Foreign better single stamps/sets

If you want to look for the Hungarian lot, it is somewhere in the Eastern Europe section, but I forget where. Sorry, there are many Hungarian lots.

Have fun, but don't have mortgage papers handy when you look. Remember your family needs to eat this month .
