Oooohh some nice new etiquettes, lovely.

I think your Paraguayan is a Registration Label
I cannot see an air mail etiquette having a number.
I have saved it in both folders just in case.

Thanks for the font suggestion, I see what you mean,
A lot of the celtic images I see as influence from the Vikings,
the elaborate scroll work etc, very distinctive.

You're right about the vikings, absolutely. I'm planning a thread on it, with reference to designs on stamps, but that's for another time.. (possibly another lifetime...!)

I have this incredible urge to break into the Monty Python Vikings song.

Here's another one I found. Part of the image is covered by the stamp, though. I don't mind soaking it if anyone wants to see the whole thing.

Thanks SM,
a new one for the library.
Please do not soak, it is tied to the cover.

It also could be useful for "hearts on stamps"

Found a new (to me) etiquette site which helped to identify some etiquettes posted earlier. It was found by putting a picture of an airmail label into the Google image search box as mentioned in another thread on this site. SCF rocks!!

Received your etiquettes on cover Aimee (SpanishMoss)

Lovely, thank you very much.

A small present following, and sent you a kid's stamp story
brochure (your interest from your SCF passport)

Isn't postage becoming expensive now?
I am not sure what a current forever stamp is worth,
but my gift was similar in postage to yours.
Large format covers now are around $5 to US.

Something a little different from Airmail stickers ...

And here in the Indian Customs Declaration on the back is what set the Australian Quarantine antennae quivering:

'Old envelope' from India ... I can just see the customs and quarantine wallahs reaching for the smelling salts.

(It's yours if it will fill a long-felt need, Rod. Just let me know.)

Here is an image of a Vietnam Unicef cover bearing both a printed winged airmail label and a Hanoi taxe percue hand stamp. The postage stamp depicts a peasant pushing a well-laden wheelbarrow; it was printed by offset and issued by Vietnam on April 6, 1993, Scott No. 2446.

Rod,

Glad they made it there safely. And yes, I agree, postage has gotten expensive. It was around $5 to mail your cover, too. The current Forever stamp is 44 cents.

Thanks for sending something to the boys. They always love getting mail. The kids stamp story brocure sounds very neat. I'll let you know when everything arrives.

Thanks Tony, but I have lots of quarantine covers
half my family lived in Thailand.

Nice Vietnam cover
especially liked the red lozenges for the air mail livery, unusual.

Here's one from the Philippines I came across the other day - I had never seen this one before.
