In my NVPH catalogue they are listed under Portzegels. They were issued between 1870 and 1958.
The rest of the text is in Dutch and I can't decipher the meaning. I'll try to translate some later if someone else doesn't post additional info in the meantime.
Thanks to the Search function, I found the same problem. Please see the Netherlands version beside the Netherlands Indies. (The Indies version definitely has some underinking issues.)
The colour coding for postage due stamps was blue for the Netherlands, red for Netherlands Indies, green for Curacao/Antilles and lilac for Surinam. Potentially confusing exceptions are the 1 guilder blue (1940) of the 1913-1940 issue of Netherlands Indies; the 1946 issue has a whole range of different colours. The 1870/1874 issue of Netherlands and Neth. Indies also does have a colour coding. Other things to watch out for include: colour of the numeral (earlier issues black, later colour of the stamp) and in the case of the Netherlands, the shade of blue. The second emission of the Netherlands (1881 and later) has four major types, each with four major perforations. The price differences can be major (5c type IIIB is listed at 8 euros, type IVD at 1000, used). The only secure way to distinguish the types is by counting the links of the chain framing the numeral: Type 1: 34; type II: 33; type 3: 32; and type IV: 37. Perforations are: A: 13 1/2 x 13 1/4; B: 12 1/2 x 12; C 11 1/2 x 12; D: 12 1/2; E: 12 1/2 small holes (12 1/2 cents only). Hope this helps!
