Everyone here seems to love trying to identify stamps. So I have one for you out of my "don't know what it is" box. The inscription near the bottom appears to say, "VINET PARAS" which I believe is probably the denomination. Any ideas?

It's from Turkey from 1892.

The denomination is 20 paras (half a piastre) but at the bottom it's given in French as vingt paras.

Virtually nothing, like most stamps. Which is why this can be a very cheap hobby.
