I'm confused over the definition of cinderella or label. I have these two labels from Eynhallow and Staffa. I understand that both islands are uninhabited island so these labels have no postal value. What is the correct term or terms to describe these issues.

Also known as Bogus Issues. Here's one glossary that refers to them as "labels":

Quote:
EYNHALLOW: (Holy Island) off the coast of Scotland with labels bearing its name printed in the 1970's.
STAFFA: Island issued hundreds of labels since 1969, Scotland local issue.

Thanks Wt1. Now I have another term to add to the mix - bogus issues. Can I use both cinderella and label to also describe these.(my question mark is not working right now)

Hi. Cinderella is a general term. From the term Cinderella come Bogus, locals,Exhibition labels,Advertising labels,Strike Post labels,Seals etc etc.

So the correct term for the two examples you showedis, as wt1 says, Bogus Labels [or stamps, depending on which term one uses] which are under the Cinderella Umbrella.

Now I have really confused you , I'll crawl back from whence I came!
