pema,

I collect Romanian Perfins, as an adjunct to my Romanian collection.

I know of no existing catalogue of Romanian Perfins.

I don't think Romanianstamps.com addresses these either.

Please email me should you find anything valuable on the web please.

Thank you Jill.
I recall the second link now.
I was unaware of the pages in Romaniastamps.com....great stuff.

Pema.
Here are a few, I have others scattered through my albums, which frankly are in a mess.

Here are some I have in my collection, I must have made this database some time ago.........

Just a update about the three hole Hungary perfins. First they are now listed in the Scott Classic Catalog. This board has a posting that claims it was a 20% premium and the Scott Catalog says a 10% premium for unpunched sheets . It could be both, over time it was changed or clerks at the window looking for a little extra .

Thank you FT,
How many does Scott List?

Here is Jay Carrigan's response to my query in 2004

He has 79 stamps in total 3 pin punched.

Mr. Leslie Ettre wrote an article about the three-hole punched Hungary stamps in 1971. He states that 100 stamps received the three-hole punches, not including the overprinted issues for Western Hungary. The article also states regular postage stamps were sold at a 10% premium, while the postage due stamps sold at a 20% premium.

Thank you Robert.
Seems to clear up some misunderstandings in the premium.
Saved.

pema,
you are in the correct space,
ask, and we shall do the best we can, although, I expect you shall be teaching us.

Post your scans, and possibly we can create a database of our own.

Hello, I was reading this thread and remembered a cover that I have. it is BCR perfin. the letter is from 1908. the perfin kind of matches with the letters on the paper seal on the backside of the cover. I personally like the fact that the perfin is mirrored. Maybe useful for your database.
