On June 5, 1964 Italy issued a set of two stamps commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Carabinieri, the national military police of Italy. On April 29, 2011, lithograving posted an image of the first stamp in this set in this thread (on page 2). Nei Secoli Fedele ("Faithful throughout the centuries"), is the motto of the Carabinieri.
