Among the huge wad of glossy stamps issued by Tuvalu in late 2010 early 2011 includes two sheets of Abraham Lincoln Issues.

Other subjects of extreme importance to Tuvalu issued around same time include Gandhi, Elvis, Muhammad Ali, Princess Diana, Frederic Chopin, Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI (Tuvaluans are 95% protestant), John F. Kennedy and Palaces of the World.

I wonder who buys this IGPC stuff, enough that keeps them being issued.

Are any of these sheets or stamps listed in the catalogues ?
Or are they destined for the appendix ?

What is IGPC ?

LB1, they all seem to get Scott listing, and a small amount are actually sold from the Tuvalu Philatelic Bureau.

IGPC is Intergovernmental Philatelic Corporation of New York that produces such stamps for many countries of the world. Most of them are quite gaudy and ugly.

If I kept up with my Lincoln topical collection, it would be collectors like me whom keep them issuing popular stamps subjects. I think that both sheets are attractive. However, I do not have either. Topical collectors rarely care if the stamp was readily available to the issuing countries populace and used postally. I would think of that as a bonus to find such a stamp on cover used appropriately.
