Since SERVICO POSTAL AEREO is inscribed across the bottom of these, you'd think they were Brazilian airmails -- but not in my catalog!

The top line reads SYNDICATO CONDOR, and the line across the globe says ORDEM E PROGRESSO.

The condor part sounds curious, but I doubt it has anything to do with the "new world order" or Brazilian black ops.

Help, anyone?

No, not a mentor, just reading the book
" Stamp Collecting for Dummies "

Here is a set that is currently listed on ebay. It is an overprint issue, read the sellers description.

There is a second set listed ,the stamps you posted, with a starting bid of 25 bucks

Not too big of a mystery, just a case of out dated book. I know it's US stamp but what year were these used and who used them?

Thanks for the help.

LeAnn, this looks like Scott O143, the one-cent Official Mail stamp from 1989 for use by offices of the federal government for official business.

These appear to be of some German origin and feature Schiller and Goethe, but THURINGEN isn't in my stamp finders. Anyone have knowledge about them?

Also have an impref.

Don't see them, Bob. Except for a couple sets of large pictorial issues,
everything in that section shows overprints of Jugoslav or Italian stamps.
