There are a few big empty spaces in my albums (to distinguish them from the many smaller empty spaces) for these big blocks of Chilean stamps from 1948. There were 75 stamps issued, 50 regular and 25 airs to commemorate the 1944 centenary of the publication of Claudio Gay's Natural History of Chile. I had never seen so much as a single of any one of them, so was nicely surprised to find this MNH block of the airmails in a box of stuff I had purchased sight-unseen this week.

Very nice find indeed. Here are some used examples. Multiples are very hard to find.
