Zuzu Quote - I don't, but I received a boatload of seals in a recent ebay purchase. That thread is over here: https://www.stampcommunity.org/topi...PIC_ID=31827 - and I can see the stamp you posted sitting in there.Yes I can see you have some CC from 1947, and also spotted National Wildlife stamps in the mix. If you are looking to dispose/swap the cinderellas let me know. Thanks BSW |

LB1 the Orient sheet looks like it may be a souvenir sold on board as the destinations/ports of call listed follow a typical sailing route to Australia |

The first image was posted on another thread, but it probably belongs here. I purchased this card about 3 years ago and what makes this stamp (and card) so interesting for me is that the writer of the card is the designer of the stamp - Ralph Dyer. He writes ........."the above seal is the design I made for that event (4th ASDA National Postage Stamp Show - Nov 1952......." It is not officially a 'postcard' as such - more a 'posted' card, because the card has a Ralph Dyer Cinderella stamp. Dyer also states "could not find room in your cover to stick it on......." I have other Dyer stamps (scan below). |

My how things have changed since two years ago when I started this thread. I said then I didn't collect cinderellas. But that 1939 Danish Worlds Fair label was just the beginning. Now have a binder full of the things, and loving every page of it. To follow B S Warwicks Wildlife cindys, here's my page of them. Well not the dogs, they just seemed a natural fit with the rest. Keep 'em coming! |

And while I'm at the scanner, here's a beauty sent to me recently in an overwhelming package from our friend Mr. Bus. And yes, I blame him and a couple of other members here for my new obsession. Well, perhaps blame is too strong...credit...that's probably a better word. |

Ah James - looks like you're hooked, - and its nice to have like minded collectors around to enjoy cinderellas. Thanks for sharing your recent acquisitions. The Altona 1914 Horticultural Exhibition is a valuable poster stamp. My tip to anyone and everyone interested would be to remember to look at the back of covers as you flick through them searching the fronts. I have often found some great cinderella surprises hidden on the backs.

I received this cinderella maxi card as a 'gift' in a purchase from Romania, and initially thought it was a home made maxi-card using a conventional postage stamp. However on closer inspection it appears to be a cinderella Rubber stamped on the back is the name of a Romanian Philatelist Grigore Grecu of Botosani, Romania Postmarked Bapha IL ? Anyone have any info on this? |
