'bus, is that the whole set? 'Cuz I have this one...

I don't think it is, as 3 of the 1937-47 GVVI set are missing. the colours are not exactly correct, but as near as.

Your example is a skit on a more modern Cinderella......

I have recently acquired numbers 1-100 of these Associated Oil Company Advertising stamps from the 1930's and have been surprised at the prices seen for individual stamps.
I have always had a fondness for the design as I have of Tydol Flying stamps, later issues from the same company [after merger].
Will show some of those later.

Still looking for nos 100 and upwards if anyone knows.........

Bas,

Like the IRAS label. Must be one of the most unusual names for a Stamp Club in this crazy world of ours !

Following on from your last post, here are some more neat seals......advertising seals to-boot !

And hewre's a mean looking feller. Wouldn't like to meet him at a farming show !!

Here are a few more cindys I received the other day in a lot from ebay.

The first I've identified as a 1917 Danish Christmas seal. Took me a while to spot the word Danmark on the bell on the upper left.

These others I'm not so sure on.

Dutch I think. Kind of fun, looks 1950s.
It is also printed on the back:
Dit zegeltje wordt you GRATIS door de schooljeugd uitgereikt.
Wanneer you het op Uw raam of deur plakt, zullen andere kinderen niet meer bellen.
Who knows if I spelt any of that wrong.

This lovely little guy (or girl) appears to be German or Austrian.

This cathedral translates from Latin 'Peace, truth, freedom, justice'. Any ideas?

I love this 1933 nurse with the baby. Spanish? Italian? Google translate was no help.

This little one appears to be British, but I could be wrong. The cause is obvious. Cripples need your pennies.

And this one I've added for fun. I seem to remember these from my misspent youth. Mad Magazine possibly?
