Tough one!
These stamps were apparently used by the Swiss army on postcards?

The blue and white shield is for Zurich, I think.
Couldn't find them in my Zumstein catalogue.

The lower one is called an advertising stamps on an ebay site asking 4 Euros
Can't seem to paste the URL
Just google "III 105 aktivdienst"

wadmalatz, I googled "ter bat 1941" and got the following ended item on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...IdoaP04%253D

Not the same stamps as yours but those are referred to as German Local stamps. Also look at the bottom of your postmark, it looks to me to reflect "dpost" and the other stamp in my link has a postmark with "Feldpost" at the bottom.

Wadmalatz, I googled the text on the other stamp and hit the following ended ebay item:

http://cgi.ebay.de/Reklamemarke-III...230557098186

For some reason my bing translator won't work on that page so I can't summarize any details pertaining to the issuance of the stamp.

Can't help you with CV but you can find background on these "Swiss soldier's stamps" at the below sites (to include our very own SCF):

I have a Swiss catalog of military stamps - "Die Soldatenmarken der Schweiz" from 1977. Your stamps are listed as Territorial Troops #332 (cat 1.25 Swiss franc) and Infantry #458 (1 franc).

I have a couple of hundred of these stamps. They issued them for different divisions, artillery, aviation, bakers, carrier pigeon units, anti-aircraft, frontier guards, labor units, construction, surveillance, infantry, pontoon units, motorcyclists, medical service, engineers, training, telegraph, reserves, transport, commissary, misc., cavalry, demolition, and more.

Here is an example from 1944, depicting General Guisan, supreme commander of Swiss forces:

and another from what I assume must be Swiss Dragoons, considering the horse:

2 Questions :

1. Am I able to search in SCF by Topic Number?
2. Can I place 2 images side by side? if so, How?

Thanks
