This Trinidad & Tobago has a GPO in the strike. I assume P O is post office but the G is ----- . Can someone help, did I miss a thread somewhere talking about these?? Thanks as always - Jeff

GPO means General Post Office. The term and acronym was used accross the British Empire at that time.

. . . . GPO's were central mail processing areas, and were where foreign mail was dispatched from.
