I think this stamp from Angola was part of the first stamp set that I ever bought. It was in one of those short set packages sold by stores back in the 50's by Harris and others. I bought the set at Kauffman's Store on Warren Avenue and Greenfield back in Detroit. A few weeks later Mom bought me the 3 cent Whopping Crane stamp from the post office and I have been collecting ever since.  |
