Fishing Cat (Prionailurus viverrinus) on Vietnam stamp issued in 2010. The Fishing Cat , like its closest relative the Leopard Cat, lives along rivers streams & mangrove swamps of South & South-east Asia. It is a skilled swimmer, & the toes on its front feet are partially webbed. Fish is their main prey, but they also catch birds, insects, small rodents & amphibians. |

Leng, the fishing cat from Vietnam is amazing. Most cats (domestic anyway) do not like water. |
