Heres the story on the labels..we went to a small show we saw advertised....Coins and stamps...there were 4 stamp dealers and probably double that amount of coin dealers...one older lady with her grandaughter helping her had a lot of sheets and covers ..it so happened that she was an antique dealer and had these stamps to dispose of....the prices were reasonable and then she said...Everything Half Off ! We went to work !!

Interesting one. Last Dodo also provides 1909 as the 'year.' However, it must have been issued in 1924 or later.

Unless of course the designer of this label had a vision of Jan Veth's design on the righthand side 15 years before it was issued.

The year is 1909.

This series of veth stamps was introduced in the Dutch Indies in 1903.

The value of 12.5 cents in 1905.
