Hologram Stamp of Turkey 2012, part of a small book issued together with Dinosaur stamps: http:// (20120222) Not Allowed /description/stamps/turkey_2012.html

As far I understood from my Turkish friend, this stamp is kind of souvenir and can not be used for postage.

It is not often one sees a postally used stamp from C.A.R.
It has a legitimate the following set.

Last years they print out stamps in huge quantities on every possible thematic without any relation to local culture an history. Seems like in 1988 it was still differently - regular stamps of dinosaurs.

Glad to remove this set from my list of "PSEDO-Stamps"

Germany 2008 "For the Youth - Dinosaurs - Block issue"

On September 4, 2008, the German Post AG has released in their stamp series "For the Youth 2008" is now 4 stamps with dinosaur motifs. The four illustrated dinosaur Plateosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Diplodocus sin all together in Frankfurt's Senckenberg Museum to see.

Note: The Block is quite big in size make it's difficult to use on cover, often to see some stamps cut out of it to be used on a cover

Really not a "block" issue but a "sheetlet" issue.
Shame that the cover wasn't bigger to include the tail ends,
AND a very nice time-line at the bottom of the sheetlet.

You are right, with some luck I'll find another one with a full Block/Sheetle. Probably is easier to make by my own, as these stamps are still on sale by Deutsche Post.

Sometimes it is very difficult to include ALL the stamps and still have the proper postal usage (not overpaid).

In this case it is still possible, I'll even need to add some extra stamps. :)
If somebody like to have such a cover - contact me.

I like to know which county is going to issue Paleontology related stamps and covers next year.
So far I'm aware about:
Great Britain 10 October – Dinosaurs
Noth Korea 10 November - Fossils

Do you know any more ?
