I would like to send out a million thanks to Dianne Earl for her most lovely package of stamps for our junior stamp club.

The outside of the package was COVERED in stamps. I will post a picture when I find my camera cord.

The inside was stuffed to the gills with stamps. WOW!

Many, many thanks for your kindness and generosity.

Merry Christmas and I hope Santa is as generous with you as you were to us!

Thanks to Steve for the Norwegian stamps, which came in a tremendous cover of mythical creatures, sealed on the back with their descriptions! Even better, postmarked on my birthday.

I'm glad the package arrived safely, David.
What a coincidence, being cancelled on your birthday.
My post office lets me hand cancel my own packages.

Holy Late Night Evenings Batman....!

I just received a Humungous packet of stamps from Dianne Earl

There has to be 3000-5000 stamps FREE

What I am going to do, is challenge my database,
pick them over, then add another 1000 and baptise this
lot as the "Dianne Earl Christmas Hamper"
and mail it as a surprise to the next person.

The next person will be Dianne's choice, and it will be
a secret until it arrives on your doorstep.
This will take about 10 days if my database is up to scratch.

My next challenge is to find a suitable response for Dianne
I'll have to dig deep into the floorsweepings in the attic.

Thanks Dianne, I hope you realise you're adding to the dark rings
under my eyes.

Glad they arrived safely Rod.

And please don't send me any, I have more than I need right now. I'm just glad to find them a good home. Great Idea about passing them on. I have and Idea about who. I'll email you shortly.

Di

PS Sorry about the dark circles. I'll send you some coffee with the next batch.

Sometimes it quite amazing, in one group of
27 in a set, I was missing one, and you sent
one to slot right in! that's rather majestic :)
