Another thank you is in order to DIANNE EARL. I just received the packet of stamps she was giving away. Wonderful material and a selection from a number of countries, many of which I didn't have in my collection (until now).

By the way, I found it interesting that the stamps used on the envelope mailer didn't receive even an attempted postmark, so now I have two more used (but uncancelled) Canadian stamps!

Mine had an almost invisible 'dot pattern' cancel. This is very obvious under UV light.

Thanks to Dianne for her package that arrived yesterday. A beautiful cover too, wish I could find envelopes like that for posting stamps.

I am going to set the Olympic stamps aside for the summer
issue of "Topical Tidbits" which is going to be about the Olympics.
Kids will be able to send off for free stamps and they will be so
excited to receive some of the fantastic ones you sent!
