I would advise against it......stamps should be kept flat. If I'm not mistaken, the coin pockets are shaped to hold a thicker, round item. If you plan on collecting for any length of time, I would suggest you see about getting an album or at least a stock book specifically for stamps. If it's going to be awhile until you can get one, envelopes are your best choice for now.
I would think this would be an expensive way to store them too. You might get 12 stamps to a page, whereas in an album to would get 30 to 70 stamps to a page, depending on the size of the stamps.
The black plastic stock pages with clear plastic fronts are nice. They fit in any three ring binder. You can use them to hold your stamps and the stamps will be completely visible until you decide upon an album.
ok I will be getting an album soon, umm.. Yeh suprizingly they are really flat, they're rennicks sheets. Yes I only get about 12 per page, double with machins though. I only put my best ones in there, rest are in envelopes.
