Finland The Law of 1734 October 6, 1984 The stamp commemorates the Swedish Law of 1734 (Civil Code of 1734) which was applied to Finland until 1894. The law covered marriage, parents, inheritance, land, building, commerce, crimes, judicial procedure, and execution of judgments.  |
