Stafford Stamp Show [uk]. June 17-18th, 2011

STAFFORD STAMP FAIR

A two-day Stamp Fair with around 50 dealers present will take place at the Staffordshire Show Ground,Stafford,England on June 17-18th.

This has turned into a regular twice-yearly event due to the success of the early shows.
I am told it is a very nice fair.

I will be going, most likely, on Friday 17th but it is open to change. I may pop in on both days if anyone wants to have a beer,Sarnie or a deep and positive Stamp Discussion.

So, UK MEMBERS, if you are thinking of going to a fair or just fancy a day out, let your feelings be known here.

As I mentioned, I will do my best to get there - let me know for definite when you are going and I will look into trains etc.

Check the trains for the Friday if you can make it. I had planned in my mind to get back down to London late Friday [very late] and go to the Collectors Market on Saturday morning.
Maybe I could sleep with the Dogs !?

It could be I'm going by car, so we will arrange a pick-up point if that comes into question.

You are always welcome here on the Friday night regardless of whether I make it or not - we now have a spare room upstairs ( I had to be rid of the stamp room - long story).

I will put in leave at work and then worry about transport.

I see you have a 'taxi' offered from the Station. I am not sure if I will be in the Midlands before the Friday or not.

Anyone else from our UK MEMBERS who fancies a day out, this might be as good a day as any !

Have just looked into taking leave on the 17th and the technician has already booked leave for that day so it is now impossible for me to come on the Friday.

so now down to two again sorry - but Saturday morning at Charing Cross is an option - I wonder if Anthony might want to join.
