Does anyone have the faintest idea what these might be?

I have found them on ebay occasionally and since these turned up in a worldwide auction lot, I have occassionally wondered what the backstory is. Especially curious are the faithful reproductions of Netherlands stamps.

Not the most esthetically pleasing designs are they.

No - Seemingly just a random selection of stamps chosen for no apparent reason and produced at the rate of one sheet per year. But it is a good reproduction of the stamp if only by photograph (?) or photocopy (?) and then printed.

Yes, a very interesting link. The intent does sound legitimate, at least inconcept it does. But I do find myself wondering if it turned into a scam of some sort or not.
