Here is an image of a stamp depicting La Fortune, a French navy flute-type vessel used during the Kerguelen Antarctic expedition in 1772, designed and engraved by Claude Haley, and issued for use in the French Southern and Antarctic Territories in November 1988, Scott No. 138, SG No. 239.

From a place that knows their ships, Newfoundland. Some may not be too tall, but they're honest working vessels.

And there is a ship on that 13c orange (SC#30 1865-94), it's just a little weather beaten.
