Hi Janknez,

Here is a website for another stamp site that is very useful to me and might be for you too.
http://www.virtualstampclub.com/2007usnew.html
They lsit all the released USA stamps for a given year. and you can click on the scott # catalog block and it will popup the Scott #. ALSO it gives you a Red, yellow or green light to let you know soakability of the stamp! How's that for "NEAT-O"?

But for anyone that wants to see my idea of an excellent USA collection - check out this guy's site. (Jim's Stamp Album) I view it frequently. I think it's great! He's done a fantastic job.

If you hover your cursor over the "Album Pages" munu at the top of the page, you can select which range of years you want to go to. Aww, just go check it out.

Thanks, Dave. I'm familiar with Jim's, but the other one is new to me. I was able to use Jim's to get the numbers I need so when I get to the stamp show Sunday I'll know what I'm doing. More or less.

Went to a show Sunday and for very little cash came away with a couple dozen United States postage stamps with United States flags on them. I still have 14 to go to have them all, or I should say, to be caught up. The USPS may issue a new stamp with a flag on it at any moment. After that, of course, I'll have to get busy replacing used with mint in those cases where it is economically feasible.

Now I have to get busy on my album pages -- I have created my own album, of which I am quite proud. In fact, here is a sample page therefrom, in case anybody would like to see it.

You know what, Johnstamp -- I didn't keep track. Less than $30 probably. It paid to shop around. One guy wanted $15 for Air Force One (Scott 4144, face $4.60) but I found another one (mint) for $5.00. Lots of what I bought were face or with a very slight premium.

Is that a Philippine stamp?

This flag topic just keeps on going, so I guess I should add a few of mine. Nothing fancy, just U.S.

Kirk,

I missed that lovely page of US defins. Very nice. They look lovely...nay, more lovely when nicely displayed like that.

I only came to offer something I have just received from the UK as this thread has a two month silence.....

A half a year and no Flags !!
I don't believe it.

Have actually acquired quite a number these past months, all lying around in glassines and pages.

Here is the latest addition and a real beauty it is.
I adore this Canada Miniature sheet, the first time Canadian Flag definitives have been issued in this format.
Courtesy of my mate Len from Nova Scotia, thanks Len.

The MS, regular gum...with barcode !!

The Booklet, unfolded. Hanging hole and colour coded. Self-Adhesive.
A beaut.

Next up is a 2001 GB booklet pane.

Issued as a Miniature sheet [posted elsewhere on this thread], and also as a Booklet pane from the Unseen and Unheard Prestige Booklet.

Two rows of fine roulettes for seperation and with a famous Churchill saying in the border sky.
A absolute stunner....I would say that wouldn't I ?

And here's a fun Tonga Flag set, to celebrate the 1977 Silver Jubilee of QEII. Self Adhesive.

Londonbus1.....I could stay at home all day !
