I am a perfin collector, so I am au-fait with them in general, it was the "W and flag"
puncture format that I was ignorant of.

and my apologies if I was not clear,
Regarding the EC East China stamp, I meant it as a quiz.

There is a flag on that East China stamp, and I wondered if
anyone knew it? It qualifies as a "flag on a stamp"
but it is hidden.

Rod222, I can't make out the duck or the flag on that stamp. Fortunately I have the same stamp in my collection and I think I see the flag of Japan. Can't see no duck though.

Yes it is the Japanese Flag, the overprint that hides it
reads "Post"
I think I have it wrong, the duck behind the burro
may just be the headland, but sometimes it looks like a bill.
(Too many Tim Tam's )

Londonbus, they are only the best bicuit ever.
