Just found this postmark from 1990 which fits the theme, so I thought I'd post it:

Nice cover wt1. I seemed to have missed that just before Christmas.

Here is a recent addition to the Flag collection from Canada, a recent issue.
Booklet shown here, Miniature Sheet on the 'Let's go Flying' thread.

H.E.Harris Flag sheet of 150. In it's original wrapper.
I was quite chuffed to have scooped this up and it came with a couple of extras which I shall be offering on my sales thread later.

Circa 1960-ish.

Question regarding the pack in previous post.

Should I open the pack or leave it sealed. I cannot display such a big sheet anyway so it seems like a waste of time.

thoughts?

Leave it sealed. If you're looking to eventually auction it, there's nothing like a "new in package" item to entice someone to buy. (Also, at 39 cents, I think it dates to the early to mid-1960's.)

I remember I was going to buy one of those in the 70's but thought I would never get stamps from every country, there were so many.

Still haven't done it but I'm having another go at it.

Sealed it is, thanks guys.

I have just had an amazing ˝hour.
I won some scarce British Philatelic Exhibition pieces, some I had never seen on offer before. Most I won at the low starting price...I am still in shock.

But to flags.
Just after those wins, I was looking for some Confederate info for Tayler.
I found these Cheap and Beautiful Flag Cinderellas...if anyone sees them anywhere [I never have], please give me a shout.

Many thanks

I posted this in another thread. Not sure if it qualifies as a "flag on stamp" or not, but it is scheduled to be issued on 02/14/2011 for high volume mailers (in 3000 or 10000 coils) but the USPS will sell to collectors in strips of 25, I believe:

(NOTE: This could be the last denominated 44-cent stamp before "Forever" stamps take over...)

Nice Jeff !
However, I would not find a place in my album for the Postal Card and Canadian cover. They are too small.
Well spotted anyway. Thanks for posting on one of my favourite threads !

I have both of those. If you come across 1O7-1O9 or 1O10-1O15, I am interested !
As an aside, I noticed Scott made no mention of a Booklet for M12.
Neither could I find it elsewhere.

Anthony....any idea how many varieties exist for this definitive-style Flag ? I lost track a bit and need to do some revision.

To end with, this landed on my desk today.
