jhlovell & Londonbus1 - Thanks. Here is an image of a stamp depicting Grenada'a flag being carried by a dove, and the emblem of the United Nations, printed by lithogravure, and issued by Grenada on March 19, 1975, Scott No. 621. The color yellow in Grenada's flag symbolizes the sun and the friendliness of the inhabitants; the green represents the country's vegetation and agriculture; and the red stands for the courage and vitality of Grenada's people. The yellow stars represent the seven parishes of the country. The nutmeg signifies that Grenada is one of the world's largest producers of nutmeg. - nethryk |

Backroads posted a very nice Korean Friendly Nations sheet a short time ago. It was a beautiful sheet and showed the Canadian Red Ensign together with the Flag of Korea. The 1951 set of 22 was issued in 2 colours. Here are the Korea-USA stamps. I have been after the set for a while but the price is just too high each time I see it ! If anyone should see a set please point me in the right direction...thanks. Londonbus1 |

A 1992 Kuwait issue celebrating Liberation Day when the Coalition kicked out the Despot Saddam Hussein from the tiny nation. A pity George didn't finish it off then. The stamp shows the Flags of all the assisting nations. Londonbus1 |

Nice flags LB. I always liked those Korean flags but sorry to say don't have any.
There is something about that crude litho print look. |
