Workers on Mt. Gellert, printed by photogravure, and issued by Hungary on June 17, 1950 as one stamp from a set of five publicizing the First Congress of the Union of Working Youth, Budapest, Scott No. 904.

Happy camel, hands holding staff, and the national flag, designed and engraved by Albert Decaris, and issued by Mauritania on January 20, 1960 in celebration of its independence from France, Scott No. 116.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting the national flag of Albania, printed by lithogravure, and issued by Albania on June 4, 1979 to publicize the 5th Congress of the Albanian Democratic Front, Scott No. 1898. I'll bet that was a real blast.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting the national flag of Tunisia and "Independence," a caped allegorical figure riding (rather awkwardly) a horse bareback, and a dove, designed by Tunisian artist Hatem El Mekki (1918-2003), engraved by Jean Pheulpin, and issued by Tunisia on March 20, 1959, Scott No. 336.

Londonbus1 - Great covers!

Here is an image of a French Military stamp, on piece, depicting the national flag of France. This stamp was designed by Robert Louis, engraved by Gilbert Aufschneider, printed by typography, and issued by France on July 20, 1964, Scott No. M12.
