Flags On Stamps.......new Additions !

Hi Primoz, You are quite right, hands on flags on stamps is a bit too much to ask for, but I couldn't resist looking and found Zaire! The other one is of course France. I like the different colors of the hands representing the people participating in the conference. K.

Nice to have the extra selvedge (selvage) with the Flag on it also as well as a POCON cancellation, numeral not showing here unfortuneately, from La Pocatiere, Quebec.

The extra traffic light, printer's colour indicators, as maple leaves, shows nicely also on the left.

Hobsun013 Great twist to the topic. I would love to see you complete that series. The Western Cattle in Storm certainly is in my top 10 of all-time faves. and the 4 cent runs just shy of the top 10. Your copy is certainly one of the finest used examples I have witnessed. Thank you, and all the other contributors to this post for sharing your stamps and collections with me (us)...

Lithograving, the 5/18/78 postmark is of interest to me. I was born May 18, so I collect that date, plus Oct 2 and Jun 23 of any year, because those are my daughter's birth dates, and May 28 and Dec 14 of any year because those are my parent's birth dates. My sister was born Dec 23, and I find it difficult to find stamps mailed only two days before Christmas. I theorize that the post office was busier delivering than sending out about that late into the Christmas rush.

Long story short, thanks for sharing and letting me ramble on about my stamp addiction, you are great unpaid therapists...
