ok maybe old is not the write term the album was obtained in 1992 by a friend of mine who in turn gave it to me last night... at the top of each page is the name of a country and on either side of the name is a space for a flag and a insignia from each country.. most of these are present and look very much like a stamp. however I see no indication of a postage price nor the usual country marking on the "stamp" in question.. would this be a Cinderella? or simply a sticker to help the album look good? LOL

without pics its hard to say but if there is no clear rate/denomination then my best guess would be for Cinderella's.

You could call them Cinderellas. I will venture to guess that they are out of an HE Harris Album (but other companies used them as well). HE Harris was big in providing spaces for Flags and/or Coats of Arms from all countries. Made the album pages stand out because of the colorful Cinderella labels even if you didn't have a whole lot of stamps to fill the page. If they are the same Cinderellas I'm thinking of, they still make them at this link:

those are indeed the ones!! thank you so much....as they are still offered I would venture that they are a good conversational piece but other wise not overly worth trying to get them off the pages....
