I came across this 1c orange/yellow Admiral #105 with creases in the stamp. At first I thought it was one to toss in the scrap pile. But, upon closer inspection, the creases were harbouring extra pigments of colour! Right in front of the King's face and especially in front of his chin.

This would mean the creases were present at the time of printing, causing the extra build-up.
Is there much of a following for this type of flaw/error? And how often did this happen in these earlier years of printing? Would offer for sale but I am not even close to 50 posts.
Anyone with information about creasing, and if you have them, this thread could be for showing off your creased stamps. Would love to see other examples.

Regards,

Norm
