This is the only stamp I have which is round...

It is from New Zealand and I think about 2005. If anyone has any info on it, that would be nice. My catalog doesn't go that late.

Anyone else have round stamps? Please post them here.

Steve

Very nice! I don't have any round stamps!

There are several New Zealand round Kiwi stamps:

SCOTT
#918 $1 green (1988)
#1027 $1 red (1991)
#1161 $1 blue (1993)
#1445 $ violet (1997)
#1635 $$1.10 gold (2000)

So yours is Scott #1445, issued August 6, 1997.

I bought this one today at the stamp show in Nashua, NH. Does it qualify as round?

RS202b 4c black, sunburst die cut, Ring's Vegetable Ambrosia, a private die proprietary medicine stamp.
There is an old hinge on it (you can see it at the top) which I am going to soak off before it goes into a
mount and then into my album. Also note the blue silk threads in the paper.

I would say that qualifies as round.

Nice buy, Tom.

I've started picking up a small number of triangular issues, but I guess I didn't know there were round stamps out there. That's cool - I'll have to see if I can find some!

Didn't the U.S. issue a round stamp topic: Space a few years ago? Are there many other countries that have issued a round stamp. It looks like they might be interesting to collect.

Since this topic was started I've picked up six or eight round stamps - five or six of the New Zealand Kiwi series.

You guys and gals are going to kill me posting all these nice images!
