I don't generally buy kiloware because I have more than enough stamps to soak. I have had pretty good luck on ebay with WW lots of 1000 stamps off paper. The best have been from sellers who have scans of the actual stamps you will receive. I now avoid any seller who says "picture is a sample" and then has a dozen listings using the same picture (usually contain tons of bundleware). Also be aware of shipping costs which can be very pricey. |

I Just purchased 5 huge boxes of canadian stamps. I'm super excited when I get these in the mail. I'll let you know what I get and post any cool finds. I'll probably wait to go through them till I get my Unitrade guide. Joe |

I've purchased from Swan Philatelic many times over the last 10 years - most recently this week. Look out for the sales and try to hit some of the discount limits when ordering to really drive down the overall price. I've purchased US, Australia, and Ireland in larger lots, but this last order was for 20+ 1&4 ounce packets from countries I normally don't collect. I'm looking forward to making my way through all the lots. http://swanstamps.com/ |

Yes, thanks for the Swan Philatelics link. I was impressed with their selection on the web page, and the owner was quick to respond to my emails. I placed an order and will get it in a few days. I'll try to post a pic of what I get. I have gotten several lots from ebay recently. I've been in a soaking mood. I keep my own list of which sellers I would avoid for a second purchase, and which ones I will buy from again. Also, does anybody know if Postlynx is still in business? I've tried placing orders twice over the last couple months and sending an email inquiry, and so far have gotten no answer. Their web site still looks recently-updated and valid. extended vacation maybe? I've always wanted to order from them, but was worried about international shipping costs. I'm now trying to give them my business, but I can't seem to get a response. Thanks! Amy Amy |

Thanks for the update on Swan Philatelics.
Not sure obout Postlynx myself.
I am an eBay-a-holic so am probably missing out on all these good sellers elsewhere. |

Thanks for the heads-up on Postlynx. I'll take a look. Still not too sure I want to pay international shipping. I got my package from Swan Philatelics this morning (I payed Saturday), and I was quite impressed. Postage on the box was nice...full booklet of Harry Potter stamps protected in plastic and carefully cancelled. I ordered 4 mixes...one pound each. Saw very few definitive in any of them. See pictures below. I randomly took handfuls out for each picture. These are World-1, World-2, USA-1, and USA-2. The 30% discount was nice, too. They are not close-cut, but the variety is really nice, which makes up for it for me. These are better than any ebay lots I've found lately. Looks like I'll have a busy weekend! (I Hope a quick review is OK in this forum) Amy World 1 - Large and High Values World 2 - Super mix USA 1 - 41C-Forever USA 2 - Commems up to 39c |

I've ordered from Swan as well and the stamps they use are a nice touch; I've gotten a complete Harry Potter myself. I auctioned mine on ebay and ended up getting around $6 or $7 for it. Almost like getting free shipping! |

Jenny2U, Thanks for the Post Lynx reference.
sjtwxgirl, Great display done well. Thank you. Inspires to look at my kiloware I let languish over the years in rubbermaid plastic / rubber containers.
Ah, the hunt and the discovery.
By the way, unrealted to this thread, I am on the look out for used Harry Potter stamps for a complete collection myself, also that I may show in my thread on the character. |
