First off, I am completely new to this so please be gentle. I live here in Shanghai and have been asked by a Chinese friend how the following would be valued outside of China. I am well aware that China has a huge fascination with stamps! Any ideas on the value's of these HK stamps?!

Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

These are nice stamps & all stamps from China & related areas like Hong Kong are doing well in value as demand for these stamps increase as people in China have increased their interest and discretionary income grows.
The 2nd one down with the $1 surcharge overprint also has an interesting possible commercial overprint on it in the center.
Hong Kong, however is not known to have allowed these overprints so I would suggest you contact the Great Britain Overprint Society with the image & see what they have to say about it! http://www.gbos.org.uk

Enjoy Collecting,
Mike

shPete, heres what you got

#14 $19.00

#63 #27.50 not sure if that extra overprint would jack the price up or not.

Depending on the watermark on the next one, it could be #76 ($2.00) or #94 (#1.50)

#95 50 cents.

Stamps from all areas of China have went up considerably in the new Scott guides. Wish I would've picked up more of them a few years back when they were cheaper.
