One small problem: they shipped me three copies of Volume III instead of Volumes I, II and III.
By the time I opened the box, they were closed, so I will need to call them in the morning.
I took photos of what I could and I will post what I have, but I didn't want to open any shrinkwrap in case they want the whole thing back. Let me go dump them off my camera and put them up somewhere.
I'll post what little review I can in this same thread.

So, here are my photos that I have posted: https://picasaweb.google.com/apastu...Ip4WH_9fGNQ#Some observations: 1. The binder is a bit thin. There is a 'Deluxe' version of the album with thicker vinyl binders. I don't think the vinyl thickness would be as helpful as having thicker cardboard inside the vinyl. 2. The sheets - can't say more till I open them, which isn't happening until I call Mystic in the morning and see if they'll let me open one copy of Volume III. 3. They did provide a clear sheet to mount the 1997 Dinosaur sheet, since it's bigger than an 8.5x11 sheet of paper. That's a nice touch. They may provide other clear sheets in Volume I and II. Won't know until I see those sheets. 4. The 2009 supplement has a sheet in the front that says "2009 - The Year In Stamps." This has some pretty cool information on it. I'm hoping the album has sheets like that throughout. 5. The instructions provided with the mounts contains a stamp measurement gauge on the back. This sheet is thick cardboard, color and style matches the album sheet, and is punched. You could easily just pop this into the back of the album and it would like it belongs there. I'll post more when the order gets straightened out. I was all set to mount stamps this evening too. Ah well... |

So, they're shipping me new Volume I and II pages and the 2010 supplement. I get to keep all the extra stuff. If anyone wants a copy of the Volume III sheets and the 2009 supplement, you can have it for the cost of shipping. |

This reminds me of an experience I once had with Hewlitt Packard tech support on my printer.
I had to ship my printer to HP for service and after it was repaired, they shipped it back ... without ink cartridges. I called and they said they would ship new cartridges. 3 weeks later, I still had no ink so I called them back. This time, they would ship overnight. 2 days later, I still had no ink so called back. Surely the 3rd time would be a charm ... and it was! I got my ink the next day. Over the course of the next two weeks, however, I kept getting packages from HP. In all, I recieved 5 complete sets of ink cartridges. I never did call back to ask if they wanted them back. I'm sure they were tired of hearing from me, lol. |

I went and checked and I actually have the supplement you are offering....sorry. I won't be needing them after all.
I had a similar problem with Mystic. I ordered a supplement and they sent me pages all about George Washington. It's cheaper for them to let you keep the wrong sets. It doesn't cost them that much to print the pages and the return shipping just makes it not worth doing. They are really great as far as customer service goes. Too bad the stamps they offer are a rip off. |

This is sheets only. No binder. Volume 3 is the 21st century only. Let me weight the thing and see what it's going to cost. |

Well, I opened Volume III and am mounting stamps as we speak. Overall, the pages are good quality and the descriptions are very nice. The only issue I am running into is with some se-tenant sets.
I used to belong to the USPS Standing Order Subscription Program and the se-tenants they sent were in blocks of 4. The Mystic album wants them in STRIPS of four. |

If you have an extra set of Volume III pages, I would be interested for the price of shipping. I'm located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. |

Sweet deal. I saw the video they posted on Youtube of their album. It looked interesting, and disgustingly cheap for a hingeless album. |

You do realize that Mystic Hingeless US Album is only through 1946. Here's a link that talks about it (including video) along with Don Sundman's 5/29/2011 comments that they are working on the 1947-? editions, the next one due out this Fall and then other editions in due course: http://stampcollectingguide.com/mys...stamp-album/ |

Yes, I do realize that. I think even when you add up how much the whole thing would cost, you will still come out cheaper than competing products. |
