With the white shirt is the Legend of the Bulgarian football - Georgi Asparuhov. He is commemorated in this block because of his tragic death in a car crash, two years before that.

This November 1, 2003 cover from Lisbon, Portugal to the U.S.A. is franked with an April 29, 2003 computer-vended stamp (Michel #42) depicting the logo of UEFA Euro 2004. This is the smaller Amiel (France) version of the stamp. Portugal also issued a larger version of the stamp for its Monetel (France) vending machines.

The final tournament was hosted for the first time in Portugal, from 12 June to 4 July 2004." Greece triumphed over Portugal in the final.
