Well, there are snakes for the topical collector, and the listing did not say 50 snakes only 50 stamps while clearly showing they were not all snakes. Commas can be pesky.

There's a running joke among entomologists that to the common person, every insect is a brown recluse. Maybe herpers have a similar one that every reptile is a snake until proven otherwise.

Edit: Looks like there's a new picture with all snakes.
